No evil shall befall you, nor shall any plague come near your dwelling.
For He shall give His angels charge over you, to keep you in all your ways.
In their hands they shall bear you up, lest you dash your foot against a stone.
Ps. 91:10-12
How confidently may we
Trust in a God
Who carefully watches
Each path we trod
Lest we should fall
Into harmful things
He bears us up
On downy, white wings
There’s no need to fear evil
Whatever it’s form
The pestilence, the plague
Nor violent storm
He’s given His angels charge
To keep us as we go
Safe in a feathered shroud
Glistening like snow
They are dispatched
From the heavens above
To protect and keep
The children of His love
