12 Days of HOPE 4 Youth: Day 4
On the fourth day of Christmas, HOPE 4 Youth helped Erin find a home at HOPE Place that is allowing her to pursue her musical dreams. Our Director of Programs, Sara, first learned about Erin, who had no home, from several of our community partners. She was told that rather than stay in a dysfunctional home, Erin was sleeping in apartment complex alleyways. Sara sent Case Manager Eddie to find her and he brought her into HOPE 4 Youth. Erin did not want to stay in a shelter and luckily we were able to place her at HOPE Place very quickly. Since finding her new home, she has graduated from Andover High School WITH HONORS and is now enrolled at Anoka-Ramsey Community College, working towards a music degree. Erin also works part-time. Erin fills the walls of HOPE Place with her violin music and is looking forward to playing her violin in an upcoming wedding this spring!
Please consider making a gift this holiday season in honor of Erin, so that we can continue to provide programs to change the lives of even more homeless young people. You can make a gift online at www.HOPE4YouthMN.org/Donate or via mail to HOPE 4 Youth, 2191 Northdale Blvd NW, Coon Rapids, MN 55433. Any amount and all gifts are appreciated.
